Alex DB is most known by atmospheric soundS and his releases years ago by Good Looking Records and Strictly Digital labels. The positive sounds is Alex trademark, he brings it back together with Lupa Mabuze collaboration on vocals. Cosmic Soul is considered by DJ Marky as the best tune of Alex career and is played by Marky on his radio show in Sao Paulo and his gigs around the world.

Gilberto Gil is a Grammy Award-winning Brazilian singer, guitarist and songwriter, was also the Minister of Culture and is best known for his late 1960s ‘Tropicalismo’ recordings, including ‘Roda’, ‘Lunik 9’, and ‘Domingo No Parque’. So to have his effortless class gracing a Drum & Bass 12” is no less than a massive honour.

But that’s exactly what Drumagick have for the second release on their own label, Beatmasters Recordings. Teaming up with XRS for the original version, Gilberto Gil puts his sublime vocal talents to work on ‘Dia De Sol’ (sunny day) and whips up a stunning storm over a silky D&B backbone.

“El Magnifico” is a mix of latin and bossa sounds with drum’n bass. Drumagick has played this tune during its DJ and Live Band tours in cities and places like Jazz Café, Bar Rumba, Belgrade, Leeds, Bournemouth, Graz, Flex Club, D-Edge - crowds always become crazy when the bass drops.

“Class A” is more liquid and soulful D&B style tune, with house music synth influences running in a 174BPM D&B beat - this tune got a great reception from DJs like Marky, Makoto, Flight and many others.
